Rules
gamebid.lol is a marketing board for indie games: you bid to put your game above all the others. These are the rules that decide who ends up where.
Currency
All bids must be whole US dollars. No cents, no exceptions.
Minimum and Maximum
New listings start at $5 minimum. The absolute maximum any single game can reach is $999,999. All bids must increase by a minimum of $1.
Rank by Total Bid
Your position on the leaderboard is determined by how much you have bid in total on that game. If you bid less than the current #1 bidder, you will land at whatever rank your total bid reaches, not directly below #1.
Ties
If two listings have the same total bid amount, the older listing keeps its position above the newer one.
Raising Your Bid
To increase your bid on a game you have already bid on, paste the same store link again. You only pay the difference between your new total and your previous total—not the full new amount.
Accepted Store Links
Only Steam, App Store, Google Play and itch.io links are accepted. Links from other platforms or storefronts will be rejected. Query parameters in URLs are automatically stripped.
Prohibited Content
Adult content is not permitted on this leaderboard. Games containing adult material will be removed and bids forfeited.
Payment and Rank
A completed payment is what claims your rank. Until your payment is confirmed, your bid does not appear on the leaderboard.
